T-Mobile opens dedicated business lounge in Birmingham city centre store

July 17th 2007: T-Mobile has opened a flagship business lounge in its Birmingham city centre store, designed specifically to meet the mobile communications needs of local small businesses. The whole upstairs of the store is dedicated to business and is designed to help customers select the best communications package for their company in a comfortable and professional environment.

The business lounge has meeting areas and device experience tables, where business owners can test live handsets that are linked to touch screens. The touch screens provide information on the handsets and tariffs that can make a real difference to the effectiveness and efficiency of a small business. For example, T-Mobile’s award-winning Business 1-Plan lets businesses share voice, text and data allowances, includes international calls to most of Europe and North America and provides unlimited calls between users on the same account.

In addition, T-Mobile has trained business advisors on-hand to provide practical advice, tips and expertise. They will help small business owners select the handsets and communications plan that will have the most positive impact on their business. T-Mobile has extensive mobile broadband services through its 3G, HSDPA and Wi-Fi networks. Mobile broadband allows businesses to work effectively on the move and download information faster and more reliably than ever before. From making calls to using email or accessing company files on the move, it is possible to choose from a comprehensive range of handsets and services to suit individual business needs.
